The print module for me, is worth the price of admission to LR. It’s good that Picktorial 4.0 has enhanced its photo organizing features, but several aspects introduce hiccups in the photography workflow. Just look at LR’s Print Module and again, the use of presets and you’ll see it’s vastly more powerful. Some of the features are the standard RAW processing tools, like curves and levels. This isn’t a knock on Picktorial, just pointing out that it’s got a LONG way to go to match LR. But once youve got it installed and set up, the app has plenty to offer. At a Glance Expert's Rating Pros Sophisticated. New features that come with Big Sur include support. With carefully designed workflow and innovative technology, Picktorial is the ultimate photo editing tool for every photographer to intuitively organize and enhance photos. Picktorial 3.0 review: A fresh approach to photo editing and management Full-featured toolkit with non-destructive editing for pro photographers. The last major update to Apple’s impressive Photos app was in macOS High Sierra, but the company continues to incrementally improve the app. The team behind it responds very fast and develop updates even. Picktorial alone and it’s night and day! LR has vastly more power and options in setting up multiple export presets with lots of possible configurations. Picktorial makes pro-level photo editing tool available in a minimalist, streamlined workflow. Brings sophisticated advanced tools you can find in Photoshop and other lab-looking apps. And it appears you can only export a TIFF in 16-bit ProPhoto RGB which is fine with me but more flexibility would be useful. When you export a file in TIFF, Picktorial always uses the ProPhoto RGB color space, which is Picktorial’s own working color space o (and is used by popular photo editors like Adobe Lightroom® and Photoshop®).Ī typo then a tad error in describing LR/ACR (and certainly Photoshop) as using ProPhoto RGB but the answer is what I’m looking for: Underlying processing is using ProPhoto RGB primaries thus gamut (but NOT TRC so it’s not ProPhoto RGB).
